ASSU Speaker Series with Dr Everton Gooden

Dr. Everton Gooden is coming to speak upon his journey in otolaryngology to the President and CEO of North York General Hospital. As well, he will be discussing topics such as his experiences and expertise in health equity and much more.

Fall 2025 ASSU Exec Elections

ASSU Election Nominations are now open! Are you looking to get more involved in your education? Getting involved with the ASSU Executive is a great way to make your mark on academic life here in at the University of Toronto.

We are accepting nominations for candidates to fill three Executive (3) positions. Candidates will be elected during our September 26th ASSU Council Meeting. All full-time students in the Faculty of Arts and Science at the St. George Campus are eligible to run for our elections.

Project: Universal Minds

Project: Universal Minds is a program that brings students at the University of Toronto closer to their community. It’s a volunteer-based tutoring program for struggling high school students in schools near our campus. You’ll meet one-on-one with a student either in person at a local school or using an online meeting platform (like Zoom) for weekly one hour sessions.

ASSU is excited and proud to announce that fourth volume of the Arbor Journal is now available! We’d like to thank everyone who contributed to the journal, it was a collaborative effort that could not have been achieved without the tireless efforts of our editorial team and the brilliant work of our authors.

2025-2026 ASSU Executive

We are so pleased to announce our newly elected Executive for the 2025-2026 year! Thank you once again to the amazing students who put their names forward in our Spring Elections. There will be two more Executives elected in our Fall council meeting so look out for those elections if you missed your chance this time around.

Exam Jam April 7th 2025

Exam Jam is back for the Winter 2025 semester! Join us on Monday April 7th for a day of exam prep sessions, healthy snacks, fun activities, and of course our cute Exam Jam dogs!

Reading Week Office Closure

The ASSU Office in Sid Smith will be closed next week for reading week. We will reopen on Monday February 24th at 10am for our regular in-person service. In the meantime, feel free to email us: students.assu@utoronto.ca
