Hello English students and poetry aficionados! Do you love to share your poetry with others? Does listening to others recite poetry give you a sense of deep inner peace? Do you think the work of your favourite poet deserves more recognition? If so, come on out to the English Students’ Union’s poetry night! It’s a great opportunity to get together with other English students and lovers of poetry to appreciate the art of verse. Recite your own poems, the poems of your favourite authors, or just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere (complete with free food for those who get there early!). If you’re unable to stay for the whole event, feel free to drop in and leave whenever you get the chance! Make sure to spread the word to all your poetry-loving friends (everyone is welcome, and performances need not necessarily be coordinated beforehand!), and we hope to see you there!
