Over the last several weeks, the Faculty of Arts & Science has been engaging with staff and faculty to solicit feedback on the University of Toronto’s current phase of their Academic Toolbox Renewal Initiative (ATRI). The goal of the ATRI is to develop a standards based technology ecosystem for the University of Toronto, including a core Learning Management Engine (LME) plus a Toolbox of other tools and resources.
We would like to give FAS students an opportunity to share your views on the portal (also known as Blackboard) and the various associated tools and to hear from you about what you would like to see in a new system.
We are pleased to invite you to a Town Hall discussion on Thursday, January 28th from 3PM-4PM in SS 2102. Please consider how you might you use a LME to better support your learning and to manage your courses. Some of the other faculties at the university have already provided feedback, which is documented on the ATRI LME Page.
We look forward to meeting with you, and hearing your feedback on this exciting initiative.
