The ASA will be hosting its annual Winter Academic Seminar March 26th in AP246 (the large boardroom on the second floor of the Anthropology Building). All individuals interested in Anthropology are welcomed to attend.

Two speakers, Professor Max Friesen and Professor Marcel Danesi will be presenting.

Speaker #1: Dr. Max Friesen

Professor Friesen is a professor within the Anthropology Department who specializes in Arctic Archaeology. He has worked extensively throughout the Canadian Arctic and his work has been highlighted several times through Canadian media including CBC.

Speaker #2: Dr. Marcel Danesi

Professor Danesi is cross-listed among several departments at U of T St. George and specializes in Youth Culture, Linguistic Anthropology, and Semiotics and Communication Theory. He is well known and highly praised by undergraduate students across campus for his enthusiastic lecturing style.
