Got a great idea to improve the Faculty of Arts & Science? Share it in the “Dean for a Day” contest!
As a university student, you’re on the front-line of teaching and learning – and we bet you’ve got some ideas on how to make the experience even better. Well, here’s an amazing chance to have your say on positive changes you’d like to see in your faculty!
Once again, ASSU and the Dean’s office will be running a “Dean for the Day” contest. A lucky student will switch places with Dean Melanie Woodin for the day – she will attend their classes, extra-curricular events and they will attend her meetings/events. In conjunction with this contest, ASSU and the Dean’s Office will once again be making a joint donation to Food Banks on campus.
To enter the contest, students will submit a written essay (maximum 500 words) – on the topic – “If you were Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Science, what new ideas would you pursue to enhance the student experience.”
All entries are due Monday, February 26, 2024, 5 pm.
