We get many students who come in asking how to get involved with ASSU.  There are many opportunities for students in the Faculty.  The best way we normally suggest is to find the course union related to your field of study.  If you are unfamiliar with the course unions, you can find the ones recognised under ASSU here.

The other way to get involved is through our tutoring program called Project: Universal Minds or the ASSU Sustainability Initiative.  Both meet regularly to talk about issues within their work on and off campus.  Check back frequently to the pages for information on meet dates.

Another fantastic place to find out extra curriculars on campus is ULife.  It is regularly updated and has a constant stream of events on there.  Finally, if in doubt come by the ASSU office and speak to the Executives or staff on site.  They’d be happy to guide you in the right direction.  U of T is a daunting school, with an enormous student population, ASSU is here to make it a little easier on you.
