Environmental Justice and Sustainability Unconference

Environmental Justice and Sustainability Unconference

Together we are stronger than we are alone.
-Augusto Boal

The unconference will be an opportunity for U of T students, staff and
faculty who are passionate and interested in various aspects of
sustainability, to meet each other, to share ideas, to explore
opportunities to collaborate, and to synergize around sustainability
actions at U of T and beyond. The Unconference will be organized as an
open space: a process where participants create the agenda by
proposing and facilitating the discussion of issues or actions that
are meaningful to them; an open space process allows for a diverse
group to share the space in a relaxed, inclusive and purposeful way.

The goal of this gathering is to channel the large amount of energy
and dedication of individuals, campus organizations, existing
networks, committees and departments toward building relationships and
engaging in a cross-pollination of ideas that will enhance our current
actions. The unconference will also be an opportunity to learn new
ways of doing and being so that together we work toward strengthening
environmental justice and sustainable practices at U of T and beyond!

ASSU Test Drive!!

Attention students! As many of you know already, we have a fantastic test bank. The test bank is composed of tests that have been donated by students.

This is a call for past term tests for the fall 2009 semester. You can bring your tests to the ASSU office (room 1068 of Sidney Smith).

Upon donating a test that we don’t have, your name will be entered into a draw for fantastic prizes in the form of gift certificates for Second Cup and Tim Hortons.
